Seasonal Bar Person (18+) – Hotel & Holiday Park - Join Our Team This Summer!
We are looking for an experienced, friendly and energetic Bar Person (18+) to join our busy hotel and holiday park for the summer season.
If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, meeting new people, and delivering excellent customer service, we'd love to hear from you. Our bar is at the heart of our guests' holiday experience, so we're looking for someone who can work confidently behind the bar while creating a welcoming atmosphere.
The Role
As a Seasonal Bar Person, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service while ensuring the bar operates efficiently throughout busy service periods.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently.
- Provide friendly, professional customer service to hotel and holiday park guests.
- Take and process drink and food orders accurately.
- Maintain excellent knowledge of drinks, promotions and bar products.
- Ensure the bar is clean, organised and fully stocked throughout each shift.
- Handle cash and card payments accurately using the till system.
- Check identification and ensure compliance with Challenge 25 and licensing laws.
- Assist with restaurant and terrace drinks service when required.
- Work closely with the management team and colleagues to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
- Follow all health, safety and food hygiene procedures.
What We're Looking For
- Applicants must be aged 18 or over.
- Previous experience working behind a busy bar is essential.
- Confident serving beers, wines, spirits and cocktails (basic cocktail knowledge is desirable).
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Positive attitude with a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work under pressure.
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
- Personal licence holders are welcome but not essential.
- Ability to travel to Porthmadog or have reliable lift in place.

Working Hours
- Evening and late shifts.
- Weekdays, weekends and bank holidays.
- Approximately 35–40 hours per week, depending on business levels.
