Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food production and presentation. Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations and food production.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Help with menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for dishes.
- Manage food preparation processes, ensuring quality and consistency in all dishes served.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Ensure that all kitchen equipment is maintained and operated safely.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment.
