Vehicle Appraiser / Collection Specialist (Self-Employed)
Liberty Green Cars is looking for an experienced Vehicle Appraiser to join our buying team. This is not simply a vehicle collection role. We are looking for someone with exceptional attention to detail who can accurately assess a vehicle, identify potential issues, and carry out thorough due diligence before authorising payment.
This is a self-employed position with flexible working hours. Work is allocated according to business demand, the number of days worked will vary from week to week depending on business requirements. Typical workloads are around 2-3 days per week.
The role involves travelling throughout the South of England, typically within a 150-mile radius of Fareham. Most journeys begin by train, with the purchased vehicle being driven back to our site, so applicants who hold a Railcard would have an advantage.

- Completing comprehensive appraisal and due diligence reports.
- Liaising with the buying team before payment is authorised.
- Negotiating with sellers where undisclosed faults or damage are identified.
- Completing the purchase process and safely returning purchased vehicles to our site.
