We are looking for an experienced and reliable cook to join our friendly and hardworking team. Working 5 days per week (Wed-Sun) from 8:00-3.
As a deli assistant/cook, you will ensure that all orders are prepared and served accurately and in a timely manner. Delivering exceptional breakfast to ensure an impeccable customer experience.
Some of the key responsibilities include:
- Understand all breakfast menu dishes, recipes and ingredients
- Prepare and serve food in a timely manner with an appealing plate presentation
- Be flexible to modify dishes to meet customer needs
- Help with food preparation
- Setting up and clearing down after service, making sure all areas are clean and tidy
We currently have a five-star rating with Food Hygiene, and you will need to maintain this standard within the kitchen, being an organized and tidy cook.
The candidate will ideally hold a level 2 certificate in food hygiene, and have a sound knowledge of allergens, but if not then training will be given to the successful candidate.
