Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Head Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and safety within our facility. This vital role involves overseeing daily cleaning operations, managing staff, and maintaining a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the housekeeping team to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules, procedures, and quality control measures.
- Train new staff members on cleaning protocols, safety procedures, and customer service expectations.
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring timely replenishment and proper maintenance.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Address guest requests or concerns promptly with professionalism and a positive attitude.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special cleaning projects or event preparations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in housekeeping management or a similar leadership role within hospitality or facilities management.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to give clear instructions and provide constructive feedback.
- Demonstrated customer service orientation with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to operate a vehicle safely; driving experience is preferred for mobility around the property.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, safety protocols, and equipment maintenance is desirable.
