We’re looking for a strong Chef de Partie or Sous Chef to join the kitchen team at the Queen’s Head in Tirril. We’re a busy, friendly pub with a small kitchen team, so we’re looking for someone who is reliable, passionate about food and enjoys being part of a close-knit team. The Role Working alongside our Head Chef, you’ll play an important role in the day-to-day running of the kitchen. We’re looking for someone who is confident, hardworking and able to take charge when needed, but who is equally happy working as part of a small team. Who We’re Looking ForThis role would suit an experienced CDP looking to take the next step, or an existing Sous Chef looking for a great local pub and a stable position.
- Produce consistently high-quality food
- Help run the kitchen during busy services
- Work closely with the Head Chef and wider team
- Take responsibility for the kitchen and cover the Head Chef on their days off
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and organization
- 40–45 hours per week
Pay: £13.50-£15.50 per hour
