Job Description:
Are you an experienced CNC Machinist?
Aspex UK are recruiting for a CNC Machinist to join our team on a fixed late day shift, working Monday to Thursday.
Job Responsibilities:
As an experienced CNC Machinist, your responsibilities will include:
- Set-up and operate CNC machines to manufacture bespoke timber parts as per specifications
- Interpret bespoke production orders and technical drawings to determine correct machine settings
- Load raw timber materials onto machines and move finished parts to designated areas
- Conduct thorough inspections of timber products to ensure adherence to tight tolerances
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance
- Complete and update relevant production documentation
- Maintain good housekeeping standards for efficient operations and quality output
- Adhere strictly to health & safety procedures, including wearing required PPE at all times
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience working with CNC machining
- Strong ability to interpret technical drawings
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on high-quality output
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Positive attitude with good communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work overtime and occasional weekends if required
Shift Pattern: Monday to Thursday, 2:00 pm – 12:30 am (4 days per week, 10.5-hour shifts).
Remuneration: Competitive rate of pay, depending on experience
