Fabricator/welder
Tasks to include but not be limited to:
- Marking, cutting and forming steel, aluminium and stainless steel
- Able to interpret and understand engineering drawings
- Primarily mig welding but TIG and MMA an advantage
- Attention to detail and quality
- Reverse engineer parts to produce new replacements
- Working as part of a team
- Inclusion in manager call out rota (around 1 in 9)
This is a varied role where two days are seldom the same, working as part of an experienced team within a national company which has been trading since 1966.
Skills
- Proficiency in TIG welding, Stick welding, and general welding techniques.
- Strong knowledge of fabrication processes involving sheet metal and mechanical assembly.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively.
- Mechanical aptitude with basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings.
- Good understanding of safety procedures related to welding, cutting, and fabrication environments.
- Basic knowledge of assembly processes and the use of various fabrication materials.

Pay: £15.00-£17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
