Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our organisation’s financial planning, management, and reporting functions. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s financial strategy, ensuring fiscal responsibility, and supporting sustainable growth. This senior leadership position requires a dynamic individual with a strong background in financial management, organisational skills, and leadership within a complex corporate environment. The CFO will collaborate closely with the executive team to drive financial performance and uphold regulatory compliance.
Duties
- Develop and oversee the organisation’s financial strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Manage all aspects of financial management including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Lead the preparation of financial statements in accordance with recognised accounting standards.
- Monitor cash flow, optimise capital structure, and manage banking relationships to ensure liquidity and financial stability.
- Implement robust internal controls to safeguard organisational assets and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Provide strategic advice to the CEO and Board of Directors on financial planning, risk management, and investment opportunities.
- Lead the finance team, fostering professional development and ensuring high standards of organisational efficiency.
- Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction or revenue enhancement.
- Oversee tax planning and compliance activities to optimise tax liabilities.
- Represent the organisation at external meetings with investors, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
Skills
- Proven management experience in senior financial roles within a complex organisation.
- Extensive financial management experience including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Strong background in financial accounting principles and practices.
- Knowledge of financial services industry standards is advantageous.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Pay: £65,000.00-£180,000.00 per year
