MD Properties is a leading independent letting agency in Stafford, and we are looking for an organised, enthusiastic and customer-focused individual to join our busy team.
This is a varied role combining office-based administration with property visits, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, meeting people and having no two days the same.
Salary negotiable depending on experience
The Role
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out property inventories at the start of tenancies.
- Completing check-outs at the end of tenancies and reporting findings.
- Assisting with the programme of maintenance and preparation of properties to ensure they are ready to re-let as quickly as possible.
- Liaising with tenants, landlords and contractors regarding property matters.
- Assisting with tenancy deposit returns and negotiating or arranging deductions where required.
- Supporting the team with general lettings and property management administration.
- Providing holiday and general support to the Office Manager and Director.
- Assisting with a variety of tasks across the business when required.
This is a busy and hands-on role, so the successful candidate must be highly organised, able to prioritise their workload and comfortable managing a variety of responsibilities.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Is customer focused and able to communicate professionally with tenants, landlords and contractors.
- Is confident using computers and comfortable with technology and learning new systems.
- Can work independently but also enjoys being part of a small, friendly team.
- Has good attention to detail, particularly when completing inventories and property reports.
- Is flexible and willing to support colleagues across different areas of the business.
Previous experience within the property or lettings industry would be advantageous.
An ARLA qualification or a Rightmove Level 3 qualification in Lettings and Property Management would be preferred; however, we are happy to support the right candidate with relevant training and professional development where required.
