Are you creative, organised and passionate about marketing? We're looking for a proactive Marketing Assistant to join our dynamic team, a main line dealer for some of the UK's leading agricultural, horticultural and arboricultural machinery brands.
This varied, stand-alone role is a fantastic opportunity to build your marketing career in a fast paced, innovative business where no 2 days are the same. Working closely with our teams, you'll help showcase machinery solutions to our customers. From creating engaging social media content to supporting campaigns and events to promote industry-leading equipment, you'll play a key role in driving our brand forward.
Duties include:
- Create and update content on multiple platforms including website, social media accounts, blogs and emails.
- Managing social media pages by posting updates and responding to comments and messages
- Perform 'social listening' to identify influencers and outreach opportunities
- Assist with the organisation and coordination of marketing and promotional events, such as open days, exhibitions and trade shows.
- Write marketing literature plus Company copy
- Coordinate press releases
- Communicate directly with customers, suppliers and external agencies and encourage/build trusting relationships
- Act as a ‘brand guardian’ and maintain brand assets
- Manage, develop and market new brands and product launches
- Order and manage branded goods
- Create and design the internal newsletter as required

Candidate requirements
- Experience in a marketing environment is essential
- Familiarity with agricultural and groundcare markets desirable although other related industries will be considered
- Excellent time management, attention to detail and communication skills
- Able to demonstrate an understanding of Microsoft, Google, Meta and Adobe Creative Suite or similar
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and meet specific deadlines
- Professional with strong organisational skills, adaptability and initiative
- Full and valid driving licence
