Centre4 is looking for an Administration & HR Assistant to provide high-quality administrative support across the organisation.
This is a varied and rewarding role, supporting administration, HR processes, recruitment, onboarding, compliance and basic financial administration. Working closely with colleagues across Centre4, you'll help ensure our systems, records and processes are accurate, efficient and compliant.
We're looking for someone who is highly organised, detail-focused and confident using IT systems, with excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn. In return, you'll join a friendly and committed team making a positive difference in our community.

Key tasks and responsibilities
Planning
- Plan and schedule appointments
- Organise and prepare documents for meetings
- Organise and book meetings and events, i.e. face to face and via Teams
Delivery
- Maintain contact lists, manage and co-ordinate calendars
- Compose and prepare correspondence
- Document management: carrying out the filing and appropriate storage of documents, formatting of reports and documents
- Assist with recruitment and new starter onboarding processes
- Accurate entry of information on systems
- Answer enquiries and provide relevant information
- Produce and distribute scheduled and ad hoc reports as required
- Support other team members with administration tasks as required
- Work in a varied setting, with commercial and charitable income being equally important to our viability
- Bring excellent ICT skills and willing to support the drive towards our paperless system
- Support the Senior Leadership Team with administrative tasks
- Support the Head of Service to maintain HR compliance and resourcing
- Assist in basic financial processes

- Provide excellent customer service
- Interact and co-operate with all members of the Centre4 team and its suppliers and customers

Compliance and quality
- Maintain and update employee records and files
- Identify and report safeguarding concerns in line with policy
- Safe, confidential and compliant processing of information
Monitoring and evaluation
- Maintain accurate and safe record keeping recording actions and events in line with current legislation
Finance and funding
- Ensure activities are managed within agreed budgets
- Order and monitor goods and services, process invoices and billing correctly in line with procedures
