The Position
We are currently looking for an experienced Heavy Plant Fitter to join our small, close-knit team working on some of the industry’s most exciting and bespoke equipment.
The successful candidate will have experience of inspecting, servicing, maintaining, and repairing plant and heavy site machinery, with a wide knowledge of hydraulic and mechanical systems.
Experience within a similar role is highly desirable, however you must have industry recognised and relevant mechanical/hydraulic engineering qualification.
The candidate must hold a full, UK driving licence.
Experience working on HGVs & CSCS/CPCS card holder would also be an advantage but not essential.
The Duties
- Service and maintain fleet of heavy plant including drilling rigs, high pressure pumps and drill fluid cleaning systems
- Service and maintain all ancillary equipment including Excavators, hydraulic systems and general plant and site vehicles.
- Carry out PPM’s & inspections on all plant.
- Liaise with site staff and management regarding project requirements.
- Flexible to work away from home and travel to project sites to repair and service machinery located around the UK.
- Fault finding, root cause analysis & repair of mechanical problems.
- Record works carried out on company job cards and service reports.

Your standard hours of work will be Monday to Friday 07.30 to 16.30, with flexibility to work O/Time as required.
