Full-time, permanent contract (04:00am - 13:00pm, Monday - Friday)
Salary: £29,000

The Role
As our new AM Supervisor, your shift will be split into two main responsibilities. Between 04:00 - 08:00am, you will be responsible for despatching drivers during the morning shift, including distributing paperwork and keys and working with the Transport Supervisor and Night Manager to handover and resolve any issues. Following the driver despatch, between the hours of 08:00am - 13:00pm, you will then be responsible for supervising the cross-dock operation in our warehouse, completing a handover to the PM Warehouse Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:
-
Despatch drivers at the start of their shifts and ensuring the plan is followed, reporting any lates or no shows.
- Liaise with nights team to where possible work through problems as they arise and assist with booking late cover or replanning where there are gaps in the plan.

Supervise a small team in the warehouse during the morning, assisting with loading and unloading of vehicles and booking staff to cover any holidays or sickness.
- Handover to the PM Warehouse Supervisor to complete the cross dock operation.
- Conduct weekly site health and safety checks.

Enforce company policies and safety procedures.
- Drive continuous improvement across the operation, ensuring a clean, organised, and efficient warehouse and yard environment.

About You - we're looking for someone who brings:

Counterbalance licence (essential)

Previous experience in a transport, logistics, or warehouse supervisory role (essential)

Strong understanding of fleet operations and loading procedures

Ability to lead, motivate, and communicate effectively with driving and office teams
- Good working knowledge of health and safety regulations

Strong organisational skills with keen attention to detail

Proactive, with a hands-on-approach to problem-solving
