Job Title: Stores Assistant
Full Time Position
Department: Stores
Main Duties / Activities:
-
Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
-
Checking for damaged/ missing items
-
Recording movement of stock on the Companys management system and ensuring system is updated
-
Allocating goods to storage
- Sorting and labelling stock
-
Picking orders from storage and delivering them to the required areas
-
Gathering loading lists
-
Effectively labelling and packing products into containers for despatch
-
Transfer to and loading of goods on delivery vehicles
-
Stock taking/ Cycle counting
-
General warehouse cleaning and maintenance duties
-
Driving duties as required
-
Operating loading equipment to include handling aids and forklift trucks to assist with duties
HEALTH AND SAFETY
-
To be fully aware of and adhere to the Companys Health and Safety policies and procedures
TRAVEL
-
Travel and working off site in accordance with the roles commercial functionality
