This role is to assist the Project Manager and Construction Manager in project delivery and site engineering/setting out, ensuring safe delivery of the project to time, cost and quality requirements. The main project is an energy project upgrading and building substations through Scotland.
This role requires experience of using robotic total station, generally line and level control.
Project locations around Dundee.
Key tasks:
- Setting out, surveying and quality assurance of all site works in line with drawings and specifications
- Management and coordination of subcontractors and site activities to meet programme targets
- Preparation and review of ITPs, RAMS and as-built records in line with company IMS procedures
- Daily progress reporting, site documentation and liaison with Project/Construction Manager
- Ensuring compliance with HSEQ standards, permits and safe systems of work at all times
Qualifications & Experience required
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer on civil engineering projects (ideally infrastructure / structures)
- Strong setting out and surveying capability with relevant equipment/software
- Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating site activities to programme
- Good understanding of QA processes (ITPs, inspections, as-builts) and HSEQ compliance
- Ability to mobilise quickly and operate independently with minimal supervision
