Job Overview
We are seeking an entry-level Asset Management Analyst to join our Asset Management Team at the London Branch.
The successful candidate will support the ongoing administration, monitoring and management of corporate, financial institution and investment banking loans, including syndicated loan facilities.
This role is suitable for a recent graduate who is interested in developing a career in banking, loan operations, credit monitoring and asset management.
Key Responsibilities
- Review facility agreements, loan documentation and internal approval conditions for new and existing loan facilities.
- Support the post-closing administration and ongoing management of syndicated and bilateral loans.
- Monitor financial and non-financial covenants, reporting requirements and other contractual obligations.
- Review notices, reports and documents received from agent banks and loan management platforms.
- Escalate potential operational, documentation or credit issues to the relevant internal teams.
- Support the processing of amendments, waivers, consents and lender voting requests.
- Process loan transactions, including drawdowns, repayments, interest payments and fees.
- Ensure transactions are completed accurately and within the required deadlines.
- Assist with periodic portfolio reviews, credit monitoring and asset-quality assessments.
- Prepare and maintain portfolio reports, transaction records and internal system data.
- Conduct basic market, industry and borrower research, including in sectors such as real estate, infrastructure, data centres and renewable energy.
- Maintain collateral, guarantee and guarantor information.
- Liaise with Head Office, internal credit and business teams, agent banks and other external parties.
- Attend lender calls where required and prepare meeting notes and internal updates.
- Perform other administrative and operational duties relating to the loan portfolio.
Requirements
- Legal right to work in the UK.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related subject is preferred.
- No previous full-time banking experience is required.
- Relevant internship, placement or part-time experience would be an advantage.
- Native-level written and spoken Korean.
- Strong written and spoken English.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively under deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive attitude, willingness to learn and ability to work collaboratively.
- High standards of integrity, professionalism and accountability.
