Overview
We are seeking a dedicated CSCS Labourer to join our fencing team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience, supporting skilled trades and ensuring the smooth progress of site operations. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, reliable, and eager to develop their skills within the construction industry. All positions are paid and provide valuable on-site experience.
Responsibilities
- Assisting tradespeople with their tasks, including handling and transporting materials and tools
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment by clearing debris and waste
- Supporting the setup of fencing, and other site infrastructure
- Assisting with the movement and organisation of materials around the site
- Preparing sites for work activities by unloading supplies and ensuring safety measures are in place
- Supporting specialised tasks as directed by supervisors
- Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a secure working environment
Requirements
- Previous experience or familiarity with construction sites is advantageous but not essential; willingness to learn is key
- Knowledge of or interest in fencing or other specialised trades is beneficial
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Physical fitness to perform manual labour including lifting heavy objects and working on your feet for extended periods
- Basic understanding of schematics or construction drawings is a plus
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in completing assigned tasks
- Reliable with a good work ethic and punctuality
- Valid CSCS card
