Position: Labourer (Manual Labour)

Working Hours: 37 hours per week
Pay Rate: PAYE: £12.71 Per hour
Job Responsibilities:
- Carry out general manual labour duties across housing and maintenance projects
- Assist tradespeople and site teams with daily tasks
- Load, unload, move, and organise materials, tools, and equipment safely
- Maintain a clean, safe, and tidy working environment
- Follow health and safety procedures and construction site regulations
- Support basic construction and maintenance activities as required
- Provide good customer service when working in residents' homes or public areas
- Work effectively as part of a team while also using own initiative
- Report hazards, issues, or delays to supervisors promptly
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a labouring, construction, maintenance, or similar manual role
- Good knowledge of construction methods and health & safety practices
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team and independently
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling tasks
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
- Willingness to work in a housing maintenance environment
