Salary: £40,000–£43,000 + bonus scheme (varies between postcode)

We are recruiting
PIP & WCA Functional Assessors to carry out structured functional assessments, review clinical evidence and produce evidence-based evaluations assessing the
functional impact of health conditions and disabilities.
What you’ll do
- Conduct structured functional evaluations by telephone and/or face-to-face
- Undertake detailed clinical history-taking and assess an individual’s functional ability
- Evaluate the impact of physical and/or mental health conditions on activities of daily living, mobility and functional capacity
- Produce accurate, objective and evidence-based clinical evaluations
- Assess how an individual's condition affects their ability to perform specific functional activities
- Work within relevant DWP assessment criteria, clinical guidelines and quality standards
Who can apply?
You MUST hold current professional registration and have relevant post-registration clinical experience as one of the following:
- Registered Nurse (Adult General, Mental Health or Learning disability) – NMC
- Occupational Therapist – HCPC
- Physiotherapist – HCPC
- Paramedic – HCPC
- Pharmacist – GPhC
This role is specifically for registered healthcare professionals with clinical assessment experience.
Please note: Applications from
Social Workers, Healthcare Assistants, Support Workers, Receptionists, Administrators or other non-registered professions will not meet the requirements for this position.
