Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and qualified chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth and efficient food preparation and service
- Supervise and manage kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management
- Prepare a diverse range of high-quality dishes in accordance with menu specifications and presentation standards
- Lead food production activities, ensuring consistency in taste, portion control, and presentation
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and minimise waste
- Implement innovative culinary techniques to enhance menu offerings and customer satisfaction
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is maintained and operated safely
Experience
- Proven supervisory experience within a professional kitchen environment
- Extensive food preparation and cooking experience in a fast-paced hospitality or restaurant setting
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team
- In-depth knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in the culinary industry
- Experience in food production, menu development, and restaurant operations
- Demonstrable expertise in hospitality services including serving guests and managing customer expectations
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or similar establishment is highly desirable

Pay: Up to £42,000.00 per year
