Basic Vacancy Details
Apprenticeships are a great way to start your career in accountancy and will cover a range of accounting and bookkeeping functions, including, assisting the existing payroll team and getting involved in performing day to day bookkeeping transactions for clients.
For the successful candidate there will be the potential for progressing to subsequent qualifications and ultimately membership of the Association of Accounting Technicians.
Training to be provided
You will undertake an intermediate apprenticeship in accounting, with full support from Accountancy Learning as part of their Apprenticeship Program.
Working Week
Monday- Friday 9.00 am to 4.45 pm.

Holidays
20 Days holiday plus bank holidays.
The office is closed between Christmas and New Year so everyone can enjoy the festive period.
Vacancy Description
Working as part of our small team, you'll initially be involved in bookkeeping, preparation of VAT returns, and monthly payroll for our clients — supporting our existing team member and progressively taking on more of the day-to-day transactional work as you develop.
Desired Skills
A logical thinker, with attention to detail.
Be able to manage your time efficiently.
Previous experience with Microsoft Excel and Office.
Ability to work on your own and as part of a team.
Qualifications Required
A minimum of 2 A Levels, grade A to C, plus a minimum of 5 GCSE's which must include Maths & English, grades 9-5 (A-C)
