About The Role
Planted into the St Margarets and Ivybridge areas of Twickenham in 2000, we have a strong history of ministry with young people and their families. The Church today includes a large number of children and youth who attend and engage with its services and activities.
Our Mission Action Plan sets out our vision for children and young people:
“We have a thriving, vibrant, safe, coordinated, resourced, ministry with children and young people that brings them to a living faith in Jesus. We are a Church where children and young people are taught not to be passengers, but actively contribute to the life and mission of the Church, preparing them for a lifetime of apprenticeship to Jesus. They feel comfortable inviting their friends to Church.”
We need your help to make this vision reality for our children’s ministry (0-11s)
There is a Genuine Occupational Requirement for the successful applicant to be a Christian. This applies under the Equality Act 2010. Enhanced DBS checking will be necessary.
This is initially a 2 year contract, 15 hours per week.
The Diocese of London is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults through the use of the Safer Recruitment practice guidance. This role is subject to acceptable pre-appointment checks, including a satisfactory Enhanced DBS Check.
