Premier Fabrication Ltd are looking for a Fabricator/Welder based at our Premises in Cheddar, Somerset, to work on their own initiative, be reliable and punctual.
The Impact You'll Make
As a Fabricator / Welder you will transform our drawings into high-quality, finished components. Your skill will ensure our products are strong, reliable, and built to exacting standards, whether it’s a custom frame for a specialist client or a critical part for a major project.
What You'll Do
- Interpret and work from drawings and verbal instructions.
- Fabricate components from mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium using MIG and TIG welding techniques.
- Operate workshop machinery such as press brakes, guillotines, and grinders.
- Carry out precise measuring, cutting, and finishing to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Work closely with the production team to meet deadlines without compromising safety or standards.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a tidy, safe working environment.
What You'll Bring
- Proven experience as a fabricator and welder in a workshop or site-based environment.
- Strong MIG welding skills (TIG experience highly desirable).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings with accuracy.
- Competence in using fabrication machinery and hand tools.
- A keen eye for detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- A proactive, team-focused attitude and willingness to adapt to varied projects.
Mon - Fri - 40 hour week
Overtime available at times.
Wages negotiable and dependent upon age and experience
