Scotland’s viral dessert, drinks and imported snacks destination is looking for a hands-on Store Manager to join our team.
From premium slushies and desserts to Dubai chocolate, imported snacks and the latest viral food and drink trends, Nitro Slushies is a fast-moving independent business where great customer service and high store standards matter.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Supervisor or Assistant Manager looking to take the next step into Store Management, or an existing Store Manager who enjoys being hands-on.
We’re looking for someone willing to learn the business properly, lead from the front and take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the store.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Running day-to-day store operations and making sure shifts run smoothly
- Delivering excellent customer service and setting the standard for the team
- Working alongside the team on the shop floor, including preparing desserts and drinks
- Opening and closing the store, including end-of-day cash-up procedures
- Using the EPOS system and ensuring transactions are processed correctly
- Training and supporting staff across all key areas of the store
- Helping organise rotas and ensuring shifts have appropriate cover
- Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness, presentation and food hygiene
- Monitoring stock levels, receiving deliveries and helping manage stock accurately
- Identifying problems early and taking the initiative to get them resolved
- Supporting the owner with the smooth day-to-day running of the business
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience as a Supervisor, Assistant Manager or Store Manager
- Food & beverage, hospitality, QSR or retail experience preferred
- Strong customer service skills
- Confident working with and supporting a small team
- Reliable, organised and comfortable taking responsibility
- Willing to learn, listen and be trained in how the business operates
- Proactive and able to use your own initiative
- Comfortable working in a hands-on role rather than simply delegating
- Flexible to work evenings and weekends as required
Experience with EPOS or stock systems and a Food Hygiene qualification would be useful, but not essential as training will be provided.
