RG Gibson & Son, in partnership with Gibson's Farm Shop & Food Hall, are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic Farm Worker to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a varied and rewarding role on a busy mixed farm, with an immediate start available.
The Farm
Our operation includes:
- 80 acres of potatoes
- 100 Aberdeen Angus cattle
- 200 outdoor pigs
- Large-bale haylage production for the equine industry
Key Responsibilities
- Tractor and loadall operation
- General farm work across arable and livestock enterprises
- Animal husbandry, including cattle and pigs
- Assisting with haylage production and seasonal workloads
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience working in agriculture
- Competent tractor and loadall operator
- Strong animal husbandry skills
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Own transport
- Applicants must be based in the UK
Hours & Pay
- Basic 45 hours per week
- Weekend work and overtime required at busy times
- Salary stated excludes overtime and additional hours
