Join a Growing and Supportive Accountancy Practice
We are seeking a proactive and ambitious Accounts Semi Senior to join our expanding team in Swanley, Kent. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with accountancy practice experience who is looking to develop their career within a professional, supportive, and forward-thinking environment.
The role offers exposure to a varied client portfolio and the opportunity to build on your technical accounting knowledge while working closely with experienced senior team members.
Key Responsibilities
· Preparation of annual statutory accounts and corporation tax computations for small companies and LLPs.
· Preparation and submission of VAT returns.
· Annual P11D preparation for client employees and directors.
· Annual statutory audits, including stock take attendances.
· Management accounts production, with most management accounts produced on Excel.
· Work carried out through a mix of visits to clients’ premises and office/home assignments.
· A small amount of stay-away assignments due to client locations.
Audit Training
Training will be given for those with little prior experience of annual statutory audits.
Software
· The in-house system for accounts and tax return preparation is CCH.
· Client records are mostly held on Sage, Xero, QuickBooks and bespoke industry software.
· Most management accounts are produced on Excel.
About You
We are looking for an organised and detail-oriented individual who enjoys working in a client-focused environment and takes pride in producing high-quality work.
Essential Requirements
· A minimum of 3 years' experience working within an accountancy practice.
· Sound understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
· Experience using accounting software such as IRIS, Sage, Xero or similar.
· Strong organisational and time-management skills.
· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
· The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
· Strong communication skills and a professional approach to client relationships.
Qualifications

· Qualified by Experience (QBE)
· AAT qualified or currently studying
· ACA or ACCA trainee or part-qualified
