Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a reliable and enthusiastic HGV Class 2 Vacuum Tanker & Event Services Driver to join our friendly team.

The Role
This is a varied and hands-on role combining vacuum tanker operations with the delivery, servicing and collection of portable toilets, welfare units and temporary facilities for events, festivals, construction sites and private customers.
As part of our team, you will work across Dorset, Wiltshire, Somerset and the surrounding areas, helping to ensure our customers receive a professional, reliable service. No two days are the same, and you will regularly work at homes, farms, businesses, construction sites and event locations.
Responsibilities
- Operating a modern HGV Class 2 vacuum tanker safely and efficiently
- Emptying septic tanks, cesspits and sewage treatment plants
- Delivering, servicing and collecting portable toilets and temporary facilities
- Assisting with event installations and collections
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and completing associated paperwork
- Following scheduled routes and work instructions
- Providing excellent customer service at all times
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental procedures
- Maintaining accurate records using company systems
- Representing the company in a professional manner at customer sites and events
Requirements
- HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Good communication and customer service skills
- A positive, hardworking attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends and seasonal peaks when required
- Good problem-solving skills and practical approach to work
- Experience within liquid waste, drainage, tanker operations or temporary facilities is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided
