Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Sales Associate/Delivery Driver to join our team. This role combines engaging customer interactions with efficient delivery services, ensuring our customers receive outstanding support both in-store and at their homes. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with product selection, merchandising, and answering enquiries.
- Arrange inventory displays, restock shelves, and ensure the sales floor is organized and inviting
- Accurately process sales transactions using POS systems while maintaining excellent phone etiquette
- Prepare products for delivery, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols are followed
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport products to customers’ locations promptly and efficiently
- Deliver exceptional customer service during deliveries by addressing questions, upselling suitable products, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Maintain organized delivery schedules through effective time management and record keeping
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and measurements accurately
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team while demonstrating professionalism and courtesy on the phone and in person
- Knowledge of merchandising principles and upselling techniques is a plus
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; familiarity with local routes is advantageous
