Job Overview
We are looking to provide job opportunities for young and passionate part-timers who are looking to gain some experience in the world of hospitality. This is a role that will require afternoon availability from 12pm on the weekdays, to assist in lunchtime service primarily, for the time being.
In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your responsibilities will encompass various aspects of hospitality, with focus on taking customer orders and serving patrons both in-house and takeaway service, in a timely and friendly manner.
The role also requires assisting the chefs in various ways to provide efficient service, and to maintain cleanliness throughout the shift.
Experience
- Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations is advantageous.
- A passion for providing excellent customer service is essential.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment are crucial for success in this role.
- Familiarity with till systems and online ordering for services like UberEats and website orders is ideal but not required, as training will be provided.
