Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable General Labourer / Driver to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for assisting our team of Multi-traders on various sites across Nottingham, Derby, Chesterfield, and Newark completing bathroom demolitions, the removal of debris, and to assist where needed with the new bathroom installation, delivering stock to various sites and ensuring a safe and efficient workplace are maintained.
Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help keep our operations running smoothly, providing exceptional service and support across various functions. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a Multi-trade environment, while contributing to a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Demolition of bathrooms
- Removal of builders waste from site, returning it to our yard for disposal in our skip.
- Assist our team of multi-traders with various tasks.
- Safely operate company vehicles, following all traffic laws and safety protocols
- Load, unload, goods from our warehouse and various suppliers and drop off at the correct properties, ensuring proper handling of heavy items through safe lifting techniques.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met and report any maintenance needs promptly.
Skills.
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Experience working in a General building environment
- Excellent communication skills to interact clearly with team members and customers
- Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately and work efficiently under pressure
- Strong physical stamina for extended periods of driving, lifting, and standing throughout shifts
