Head Chef – To £45,000 DOE + Tronc | Live‑In Available | Dartmoor
We’re recruiting a Head Chef for a quality Dartmoor hotel, leading a brigade of 8–9 chefs and delivering high‑quality, seasonal dishes to a Rosette standard.
This role suits an experienced Head Chef or a strong Sous ready to step up.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and develop an 8–9‑person kitchen brigade
- Deliver consistent Rosette‑level food across all services, including restaurant, bar and small events
- Create seasonal menus using local produce
- Manage ordering, suppliers, stock and GP
- Maintain excellent food safety and kitchen standards
What We’re Looking For
- Rosette experience (or equivalent)
- Strong leadership and communication
- Creative, organised and commercially aware
- Passion for local, seasonal ingredients
- Calm, positive approach in a busy hotel kitchen
