Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Agency Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a caring attitude, and the ability to adapt to diverse care environments. As an Agency Care Assistant, you will deliver essential support to clients in their care settings, ensuring they receive respectful and effective care tailored to their individual needs.
Duties
- Provide personal care assistance, including help with bathing, dressing, and mobility, in accordance with care plans.
- Support clients with daily activities
- Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Use IT systems efficiently to document care activities accurately and update client records promptly.
- Promote independence by encouraging clients to participate in activities suited to their abilities.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines rigorously to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
Experience
- Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care services is essential
- Familiarity with following care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Strong communication skills in English for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Basic IT literacy for managing documentation and electronic records efficiently.
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations within the care sector is preferred.
