Job Purpose
The role of the Housekeeper is essential to helping our residents live full, happy, and healthy lives. You'll take pride in delivering a spotless and hygienic home environment that contributes to their comfort, dignity, and wellbeing.
Main Duties & Responsibilities

Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures

Cleaning and sanitising bathrooms, sinks, and countertops

Making beds and changing linens

Using cleaning tools such as vacuums, mops, and cloths effectively

Keeping bathrooms stocked with toiletries and fresh towels

Cleaning mirrors, glass surfaces, and communal areas

Tidying and refreshing residents' rooms

Monitoring and ordering cleaning supplies as required

Reporting repairs or maintenance issues promptly

Assisting in laundry duties and ensuring cleanliness throughout the home

Interacting positively with residents - joining conversations, offering a smile, and contributing to their sense of home
Requirements

Naturally kind, caring, and compassionate

Highly motivated with great attention to detail

Able to work independently and manage tasks efficiently

Comfortable communicating with residents and colleagues

Experience in housekeeping or cleaning preferred, but not essential

Willingness to work in both cleaning and laundry areas of the home

Passionate about making residents feel comfortable, safe, and cared for
Payrates
-
£12.80 per hour
-
£16.00 per hour (Weekends)

£25.60 per hour (Bank Holidays)
