CAD Draughtsperson – Bespoke Kitchen & Joinery Manufacturing
Lutterworth, Leicestershire | Full-time, Permanent | £28,000–£35,000 DOE
We’re a bespoke kitchen design and manufacturing business with an in-house cabinetmaking workshop, showroom, and installation team. We’re looking for a skilled CAD Draughtsperson to join our technical team, converting design concepts into production-ready workshop drawings and CNC files.
The Role
- Produce detailed technical drawings for cabinet carcasses, joinery details, elevations, and sections
- Create CNC-ready files for panel processing and component cutting
- Generate accurate cutting lists and material schedules
- Work closely with our workshop and installation teams to resolve on-site queries
- Maintain drawing revisions, libraries and version control
What we're looking for
- Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, DraftSight, SolidWorks, or similar)
- CNC drawing/programming experience — VCarve, Cabinet Vision, or similar joinery software
- Solid understanding of cabinet construction and materials (MFC, MDF, solid timber)
- Precise, production-focused approach to dimensioning, layering, and title blocks
- Previous experience in kitchen, joinery, or furniture manufacturing is a strong advantage
