Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Timber Window and Door Spray Finisher to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality finishes to timber windows and doors using spray equipment, ensuring a smooth, durable, and aesthetically pleasing surface. Your expertise will help bring craftsmanship and precision to our products, contributing to customer satisfaction and the overall quality of our finished goods. Duties
- Prepare timber surfaces by sanding, cleaning, and masking to ensure optimal paint or stain adhesion
- Operate spray finishing equipment safely and efficiently to apply coatings evenly on windows and doors
- Follow detailed work instructions and quality standards to achieve consistent finish results
- Inspect finished products for defects or imperfections, performing touch-ups as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper disposal of waste materials
- Assist with assembly or fabrication tasks as required to support production flow
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and basic math skills to support various finishing processes
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge of spray equipment, hand tools, power tools, welding, and fabrication techniques
- Experience with construction painting or finishing processes preferred
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or specifications accurately
- Strong understanding of basic math for measurements and calculations during finishing tasks
- Warehouse experience is advantageous for understanding inventory management and material handling
- Familiarity with assembly procedures related to window and door components
- Excellent attention to detail combined with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
