Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented FOH (Front of House) Shift Supervisor to lead our hospitality team with enthusiasm and professionalism. Oversee front-of-house operations during their shift, ensuring timely and high-quality service by coordinating the team effectively for excellent guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Leading the shift; coordinating people, product and equipment to drive productivity, ensuring there is an efficient workflow and high-quality guest experience delivered, setting the pace of the shift throughout creating a positive and dynamic environment.
- Ensuring shifts run smoothly through pre-shift planning, ensuring staffing numbers sufficient, overseeing set-up, close-down and cleanliness of the restaurant to a high standard.
- Motivate team members and enhance guest satisfaction; delegate tasks efficiently, and monitor performance to maintain high service quality
- Accurately complete orders and manage prep levels.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food production procedures across the restaurant
- Assist in training new staff on operational procedures; driving personal and business development.
- Handle guest enquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure all complaints are handled accordingly - aiming for every guest to leave feeling positive about their visit and ready to return!
- Oversee cleanliness, organisation, and safety protocols.
Skills
- Supervising experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment with strong team management skills
- Experience in serving guests efficiently while maintaining high levels of hospitality and professionalism
- Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement among staff
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling and storage
