Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Bar Staff. Duties
- Serve drinks and beverages efficiently and courteously to customers at the bar and tables.
- Take orders accurately and ensure timely delivery of food and drinks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system.
- Assist in restocking supplies and monitoring stock levels regularly.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Follow responsible serving practices and recognise signs of intoxication or inappropriate behaviour.
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth service.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided.
- Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills with a friendly, professional attitude.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy service periods.
- Experience in serving or working within a restaurant environment is desirable but not mandatory.
- A positive approach to teamwork and customer service is essential. Pay: £12.71-£14.00 per hour
