Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Labourer/General Assistant to join our flooring business. No experience needed as training will be given however any previous experience in fitting carpets, vinyls, laminate or LVT flooring would be an advantage.
This role will involve heavy lifting and working in clients homes so the ideal candidate will be fit, healthy, energetic and proactive with a positive attitude and willingness to learn. Driving license and own transport required, non smoker preffered. Wages and hours to be determined depending on experience.
THIS JOB IS IN NORTH YORKSHIRE AND CANDIDATES FROM OUTSIDE THE SURROUNDING AREAS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
Duties
- Assist with loading and unloading materials using manual handling techniques and possible forklift equipment if qualified
- Support operations by organizing stock, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring safety protocols are followed
- Support construction-related tasks such as site cleanup, material transport, and basic assembly or installation work
Qualifications
- Strong materials handling skills with the ability to lift heavy loads safely
- Mechanical knowledge or experience with tools and equipment used in construction or warehousing is a plus
Pay: £12.71-£18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16.0 – 45.0 per week
