About the Role
We are looking for motivated, confident, and enthusiastic individuals to join our team at Eyehut Opticians Oldham as a Canvasser / Optical Assistant.
This role involves promoting Eyehut Opticians’ services to potential customers, generating leads, and supporting the store team with basic optical assistant duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Approach and engage with potential customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Promote the services and products offered by Eyehut Opticians.
- Distribute marketing materials and answer customer questions.
- Record leads and report daily activity to the management team.
- Assist customers in-store with general enquiries.
- Support with booking appointments and basic customer service duties.
- Help maintain a clean, professional, and welcoming store environment.
- Maintain a positive brand image at all times.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confident and approachable personality.
- Good customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Previous canvassing, sales, customer service, or optical experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Working Hours
- Full-Time: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Part-Time: Flexible hours available

Pay: From £8.00 per hour
