Key Skills and Attributes

We’d love to hear from you if…

You have CIPD Level 5 or 7 Qualification (degree, diploma, qualification).
You have strong experience within HR as an Advisor or Business Partner, preferably within the private sector.
You are a people-centric person – you genuinely care about helping others succeed and creating a great place to work.
You have confidence and credibility - someone who can establish connections and trust quickly and build relationships, influencing and coaching peers and leaders.
You are an agile & a problem solving person – you are resourceful, adaptable, and solution-focused – no textbook HR!
You have excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to initiate challenging discussions where appropriate.
An ability to balance commercial needs with a people-focused approach.

Desirable Experience:

Experience in leading Succession Planning.
Experience within a technology, software or professional services environment.

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced People Partner who thrives on building strong relationships, influencing positive outcomes and helping leaders create high-performing teams.

Working closely with leaders across the business, you'll provide expert advice, coaching and support on all aspects of people management, while helping to drive engagement, performance, development and organisational growth. This is a hands-on role offering a mix of strategic business partnering and operational HR responsibility.

Working within a small People team, this is a hands-on fast-moving role – that requires a pragmatic, people-focused approach. ❤️

Main Responsibilities

Act as partner, advisor and role model to all the mkodo team, championing our values and culture code to support business goals.
Lead on and manage, and employee relations issues in a kind and effective way ensuring that best practices and employment laws are followed.
Lead on people initiatives that enhance engagement, wellbeing and culture.
Support on organisational change and development activities.
Drive performance management and learning & development programmes.
Manage key elements of the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding.
Delivering HR projects, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.
Involvement in the recruitment process, including communicating with candidates, booking interviews, collating feedback, etc.
