Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of The Stores restaurant from mid September.The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, ensuring food safety, and maintaining high standards in food preparation and service. The Restaurant Manager will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming environment for both guests and staff while driving the success of the restaurant.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and adherence to quality standards.
- Lead, train, and motivate kitchen and front-of-house staff to deliver excellent customer service.
- Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to maintain efficient operations.
- Develop and implement training programmes for new employees on food safety and service protocols.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and resolve issues promptly.
- Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures.
- Collaborate with chefs to create seasonal menus that reflect current trends and customer preferences.
- Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas in accordance with health regulations.
Experience
- Proven experience in a managerial role within the restaurant or hospitality industry is essential.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food preparation.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in team management and supervising staff.
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, including cooking techniques and equipment usage.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both staff and customers.
- A background in hotel or hospitality management is advantageous but not mandatory.

Pay: £32,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
