Car Mechanic / Vehicle Technician – Middlesbrough
- £38,000 Basic + Overtime + Optional Saturdays
I am currently recruiting for an experienced Car Mechanic / Vehicle Technician on behalf of a well-established and busy automotive business based in Middlesbrough.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled technician looking for a stable Monday to Friday position with excellent earning potential through overtime and optional Saturday work.
Candidates with EV / Hybrid experience would be highly desirable, although this is not essential.
The Role:
The successful Vehicle Technician will be responsible for carrying out servicing, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs across a range of vehicles while maintaining high workshop standards.
Duties Include:
- Routine servicing and maintenance
- Mechanical repairs
- Vehicle diagnostics and fault finding
- Brake, suspension, clutch, and engine work
- Completing work efficiently and to a high standard
- Supporting workshop productivity and customer satisfaction
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair preferred
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic ability
- EV / Hybrid experience advantageous
- Full UK Driving Licence
Hours & Salary:
- Monday to Friday – 8:30am to 5:30pm
- Optional Saturdays – 9:00am to 3:00pm
- £38,000 basic salary
- Overtime available for additional earnings
