Job Title: Day Janitor
Hours: Monday–Friday, 08:00AM–16:00PM
Contract Type: Permanent

Job Summary
A dedicated Janitor is required to help maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and general upkeep of facilities. The successful candidate will ensure the workplace remains a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for staff and visitors.
Responsibilities
- General cleaning of designated areas, plant rooms service areas and general facilities maintained to a safe, clean and presented condition
- Carpet cleaning and window cleaning as required
- Carry out painting, touch-ups, and minor repair work
- Perform additional janitorial duties such as rubbish collection, furniture moving, and basic maintenance tasks
- Respond promptly to radio calls and requests from management
- Notify management of any deficiencies, repairs, or supply needs
- Follow all health and safety regulations
- The role will be to support the facilities team, with routine inspections and basic maintenance and planned PPM tasks, while ensuring that any defects or issues outside the level of competence are promptly reported
Requirements & Skills
- Proven experience in janitorial/handy role roles
- Ability to use carpet machines, window cleaning equipment, and basic maintenance tools
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Basic painting and handyman skills
- Integrity and ability to work independently
- Good communication skills
- Good understanding of general building and facilities environment
- Ability to identify and report maintenance issues and potential hazards
- Basic understanding of HS requirements
- Previous experience of working with PPM
- Hold a drivers licence
