This role is based within private farmland and is not accessible by public transport.
Applicants must be locally based or able to reliably travel to and from work every day.
You will only be considered if you:
- Have access to your own car, or
- Have a reliable daily lift, or
- Live in Longniddry village and can cycle or walk to the site

Alandas Gelato is looking for multiple Factory assistants/Kitchen Porters to join our growing production team. Whether you're starting out in hospitality or looking for a flexible summer role, this is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation across the kitchen and production areas
- Support chefs and production staff with basic tasks
- Ensure high hygiene standards are consistently met
- Work both independently and as part of a friendly, hard-working team

- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Someone who takes pride in cleanliness and organisation
- Reliable and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous KP or hospitality experience is a bonus, but not essential — full training provided
