Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy (WPNSA) is recruiting people to work in our Café for a busy World Championship event from 1st to 13th September 2026.
This exciting opportunity is available for part-time or full-time hours, and can lead to regular work at weekends and as needed for functions.
Main Duties
- Provide cheerful and excellent customer service in the café and other catering spaces in the Academy
- To keep café stock replenished, rotated and to report any shortages to the Chef
- Collect and wash up pots and pans, crockery and cutlery
- To undertake cleaning duties within the kitchen and serving spaces
- Help unload food and equipment deliveries
- When requested to cash up tills and provide proper records
- To undertake appropriate training as required
- To adhere to best working practices to ensure that all operations are carried out in a safe and proper manner and in compliance with all Health and Safety legislation relevant to those activities
- Undertaking any other duties reasonably requested by the Head Chef or other senior management staff
Experience is an advantage, but training will be given to the right candidate.
Pay: £12.71 per hour
