- Monday: 8:15am – 6:15pm
- Tuesday to Friday: 8:15am – 5:45pm
- No weekend work
Overview
We are seeking a Trainee Dental Nurse with prior experience to join our dental practice. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills while working alongside experienced dental professionals in a supportive environment. The successful candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality patient care and maintaining professional standards at all times.
Duties
- Assisting dentists during a variety of dental procedures while ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Preparing treatment rooms and sterilising equipment in line with health and safety regulations
- Providing patients with pre- and post-treatment advice, including oral hygiene guidance
- Managing patient records accurately using practice IT systems
- Supporting the reception team with appointment scheduling and patient communication
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and compliant clinical environment
- Assisting with administrative duties including stock management and ordering supplies
Experience & Skills Required
- Previous experience as a dental nurse or within a healthcare setting is essential
- Good understanding of patient care within a dental environment
- Strong spoken and written English communication skills
- Basic IT skills and confidence using practice management software
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to multitask
- Friendly, professional, and team-oriented attitude
This role is ideal for someone passionate about building a long-term career in dental nursing while gaining valuable hands-on experience in a welcoming and professional practice.
Pay: £12.21-£12.50 per hour
