We are looking for an experienced Programme Manager & Lecturer to lead our Pearson BTEC Level 4 & 5 HND in Construction Management programme. This role combines programme leadership, quality assurance, and teaching to ensure an outstanding student experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the HND Construction Management programme.
- Ensure compliance with SIRM College's Teaching, Learning & Assessment (TLA) framework and Pearson quality standards.
- Oversee internal verification, assessment quality, and External Examiner requirements.
- Deliver engaging teaching across HND Construction modules.
- Support student achievement, progression, and retention through effective academic mentoring.
- Provide timely, constructive feedback on assessments.
Essential Requirements
- Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related Built Environment discipline.
- Recognised UK teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, HEA Fellowship) or willingness to achieve one.
- Experience teaching and managing Pearson HND programmes in the UK.
- Strong knowledge of Pearson quality assurance and assessment processes.
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
Desirable
- Master's degree or PhD in a relevant subject.
- Assessor and/or Internal Verifier qualifications.
- Industry experience and employer engagement.
- Professional membership (CIOB, RICS, ICE).
- Knowledge of BIM and Health & Safety (NEBOSH/IOSH).
