Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled PSV/HGV Technician to join our dedicated team, the ideal candidate will have IRTEC qualification.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing a range of heavy vehicles, including Trucks and Coaches. This role requires a strong technical background, practical skills in mechanical and electrical systems, and the ability to work efficiently in a workshop environment.
Responsibilities
Below is a general overview of responsibilities. Training will be provided if required if it is outside of your current skills list.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on PSV and HGV vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Diagnose faults using electrical diagrams, and diagnostic tools/software, then carry out repairs accordingly.
- Inspect and prepare vehicles for annual MOT.
- Perform brake tests.
- Work on fleet vehicles' and customer vehicles.
- Minor bodywork repairs including fiberglass and paint.
Pay: £45,000.00-£52,000.00 per year
