Responsibilities
- Safely handle materials using appropriate equipment such as forklifts and manual tools to move stock around the warehouse
- Load and unload delivery trucks, ensuring goods are received and dispatched correctly
- Use warehouse management systems to track inventory levels, update stock records, and manage order processing
- Pick, pack, and prepare items for shipment with precision to meet quality standards and delivery deadlines
- Stock shelves accurately, organize products efficiently, and maintain a clean, safe working environment
- Conduct quality control checks on incoming and outgoing goods to ensure accuracy and condition
- Assist with mechanical tasks or troubleshooting equipment issues as needed to keep operations running smoothly
Skills
- Proven experience in materials handling, shipping & receiving, or warehouse operations
- Ability to operate forklifts safely; forklift certification is preferred but not mandatory
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking and order processing
- Mechanical knowledge or aptitude to troubleshoot basic equipment issues
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and load/unload tasks throughout the shift
- Attention to detail for picking & packing orders accurately and conducting quality checks
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors
